Koydobo Wings

 

Chicken Adobo is one of my favorite Filipino dishes. It’s easy to make and it is delicious! I put my own spin to it and make it with chicken wings…

 

INGREDIENTS

2 lbs of chicken wings
2 tbsp of oil
5 minced fresh garlic
½ medium size onions
¼ cup of soy sauce (add more to make sauce if needed)
3 tbsp of vinegar (add more to make sauce if needed)
2 tbsp of brown sugar
2 eggs
2 cup of Jasmine rice

DIRECTIONS

Preheat Oven 425F
On medium pan heat oil, fry the chicken wings until brown
Add Garlic, Onions, soy sauce, brown sugar, Mix it well.
Cover for 10 minutes
Add Vinegar and Bay Leaves
Cover for another 5 minutes
Then put it in a pan, place in the oven for 25 minutes
Boil 2 eggs
Cook 2 cups of rice

SERVING
Serve chicken wing adobo with jasmine rice, drizzle sauce over the rice. Garnish with 2 boiled eggs. Dig in and enjoy!!!
